This Anglican Chant Psalter combines chants from various sources with the natural speech-rhythm pointing system of Charles Macpherson et al.'s English Psalter (1925). GUIDE TO THE SYMBOLS
| | | Marks a transition to the next measure of the music |
| || | Used in place of a single bar at the end of a cadence |
| • | Separates syllables sung to the first half of a measure from those sung to the second half (where none appears, all but the last syllable should be chanted to the first half) |
| * | Indicates that the chanter should pause |
| § | Indicates that the chanter should not pause at the next double bar |
